My big sisters -sister-in-law- (her husbands sister) Just welcomed twin boys recently, and she named them Dougal and Seamus (FYI, she is Irish and lives in Ireland). Wdyt of the names for twin brothers? =) <3

I’m also Irish, but I live in Canada. I adore Seamus but I’m not a fan of Dougal. I personally feel that Ciarán, Ruaidhrí, Oisín, or Caoimhín sound best with Seamus but that may just be because those are my top 5 favorite Irish boy names 😉

Ask me anything!

How do you pronounce Ruaidhrí and Caoimhín? =) I love Irish names, but I don’t always know how to pronounce them ^.^ I think I know how these two are pronounced but I want to be sure I’m saying them correctly =D

Ruaidhrí is pronounced much like Rory, and Caoimhín can either be KWEE-vin, KWAY-vin, or KEE-vin, with the ‘i’ sounding like a short or long ‘i’ sound depending on the accent.
